How much is that website in the window?
No doubt about it, the most frequent question we hear is "how much does a website cost?" It's also perhaps the most difficult question to answer. That's not because we don't offer competitive prices. We think we provide as much, if not more, in terms of service, design and reliability, as any web designer you'll find.

We figure it's the same as asking "how much does an automobile cost?" The answer to both questions is... "It depends." You can buy a high-performance, exotic sports car for a few hundred thousand dollars, or you can pick up something in the newspaper classified ads for a few hundred. Either way, you're getting an automobile, although the performance and value of each is going to vary significantly.
There are some websites that only require a few pages, limited graphics, and content which can be sent to us via email messages. These websites often cost less than a few hundred dollars. But more complex sites often require travel to meetings, custom graphics, programmers, photography and specialized software. These sites start in the low thousands. Depending on their content, some sites go a year without needing updates, while others require updates and changes weekly, if not daily.
As you can see, there can be a huge variation in costs. Just beware of the complex website that you can have for a song. At some point, you may hit a sour note. Good design doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg, but if your quote seems unbelievably low, don't believe it!
